Stone Soup Folk Arts
Foundation has recently been awarded an Arts Organizational
Support Grant from Mayor James E. Doyle and the City of
Pawtucket.
Some Stone Soup shows
begin with a HOOT (otherwise known as an Open Mike.) Four
performers take the stage for one song each. Sign-ups are
on the day of te show and begin during ticket sales. Come
early to sign up!
Stone Soup Coffeehouse
collaborated with several coffeehouses and pubs which
regularly host Open Mikes, as well as with
Motif Magazine
to present the first Rhode
Island Idol Competition. The Rhode Island Idols were selected
in an evening of fun and song at Stone Soup on May 3,
2008!
